AMC-1B line-sensing thermostat

• The Raychem AMC-1B is a mechanical thermostat designed to sense the
  slab temperature of a Pyrotenax MI snow melting system with an ETI snow
  controller.


• The AMC-1B senses the slab temperature to ensure that the heated surface
  does not get too warm during a melt cycle.


• A slab sensing thermostat is a requirement for asphalt applications to
  ensure that the asphalt surface does not become soft and then damaged.


• It is recommended for concrete applications to provide energy
  savings.
